So here it is Kgnston ft. Beenie Man with the new video ‘5 Cent’

Kgnston (Jacqui Edwards) from Kingston Jamaica is a graduate from Berkeley College New York where she still resides as a successful model with a true love of music.

I interviewed Kgnston at Caribbean Fashion Week in Jamaica last June, she filled me in on one of her projects with Beenie Man which was the creation of an uplifting party track called ‘5 Cent’ and now she has released her first video so she can “Spread the vibe”.

Kgnston told Beenie she wanted something different for this project, and she also recalled how this future hit was recorded within just 20 minutes. ‘5 Cent’ has a fresh island sound with a soul influence - Kgnston’s vocals are playful and fun alongside the “King of the Dancehall” Beenie Man, creating that perfect party vibe!

Harvey Nichols Birmingham S/S12 Fashion Show

I was well overdue for a catch up with my close friend Seemita and when deciding what to do and where to meet I thought what better place than at the Harvey Nichols specially constructed fashion studio in the Mailbox Birmingham.

HN_Birmingham organised a treat for us fashion addicts showcasing the key looks from their S/S collection, with drinks and canapes on arrival we took our reserved seats and started to snap away.

Celebrate Spring and the sun coming out with the city’s first ever open air Zumbathon, taking place right outside The Mailbox, Birmingham, on Saturday 31st March 2012.

The event, which has been organised as part of the mailboxlife.com Get Set for Spring Campaign, is completely free and will feature two 45 minute zumba sessions between 12 noon and 2.00pm.
